Default Forward control brands? good better best?

I would like to buy some forward controls for my 05 FXD but searching these forums and different net sites shows too many alternatives. Would anyone, who compared the different brands, like to post the pros and cons of the different makes? I now have mids with highway pegs that I usually shift and brake with my heels ever since I put a Corbin close gunfighter the mids are cramped even though I only have a 30" inseam. I would also like to know what extra parts I would need if I bought a model that has the master cylinder built on? Any opinions on which models would be the shortest reach, as this is a big concern?

Thanks for your time

Honstely, when i was looking around for FCs i wanted to go with a nice aftermarket chromed out look, i felt the harley kit ones looked to cheap, so i went with a set of supreme legends for my 07SB, got them off ebay for less then half full cost. Love them. I also have a 30" inseam, very comfortable to ride. I needed 2 banjo fittings, a pressure switch ,40" braided line, some DOT5 fluid.

I put the HD's on my '04 Superglide. They look good, work like they should and you only need to add a couple of footpegs and you're in business. Some forwards (Softails in particular) have the rear master cylinder mounted on right forward, I guess you could find a set for your Dyna with the m/c up front and then run a flexible brake line to the rear caliper. The stock HD forwards use a longer brake rod to the stock rear master cylinder which accomplishes the same thing.

It is a matter of what you're looking for and what you want to spend. You can go inexpensive or really expensive and detailed, it's up to you and your wallet.
