Default Mounting bolts for highway pegs?

Picked up a nice looking set of Highway Pegs from ebay.....

The type with that bracket that mounts on the sport up front on the frame with 2 bolts each, not the tube clamp type. Of course, it will arrive without mounting bolts.

I've seen a pic of the kit from HD, comes with bolts that appear to be allen head type. Does anyone know if there is a specific part number from HD? Or...better yet, what size bolts these are and I'll just pick some up a the local hardware store.

Mine's standard hex head and a lock washer.

Sorry, don't know the size off hand but I think the bolts from the passenger footpeg mount or beltguard mount are the same size and thread if you need something to take into the hardware store with you.

You'll need some spray lube too as those front mounting holes get rust and funky and you'll play hell running the bolts in the first time.

standard 3/8" X 1-1/2" bolts. Allen or Hex is up to you. Use Loc-Tite thread locker. I just put on a set. Except mine required cutting the heads off of the bottom bolt to use as a dowel. I used leftover self-tapping bolts from the passenger peg mounts for the top.

Harley's bracket's cost @ $125 and I was able to get Drag Specialities for @ $60. Use a tap to clean out the threads and then the bolts will easily thread in. Make sure to use "blue" loctite on the bolts. Also, I installed the Kuryakyn ISO swichblades which for the little I have used them have worked out nicely. Just make sure you loctite the screws (experience talking here, although Kury did replace the one with no problems)

They arrived today, excellent shape, I'm happy with my find on eBay.
Will prob swing by hardware store Saturday morning to pick up the bolts.

So based on BSpike1's post..they're "standard 3/8" X 1-1/2" bolts"...anyone have an idea for the thread?

On my 06 SB I went with self tapping bolts as the holes are not threaded completely. Oil the bolts up well then back them out and clean everything up if you want to use Loctite.

Default Old but anyone still watching

So I'm dealing with same situation on my 11 street bob, I'm wonder if these are coarse thread bolts or fine thread? I'm trying to tap them out .. thanks!
Update:
I tapped them with a coarse thread tap and they worked perfect.
