Anyone know if a Fat bob fender will fit a street bob? The dealer could not give me a straight answer.

 

No. It's too wide. Fatbob fender will only fit on a fatbob and '10 and up wide glide.

 

The '06-'08 Wide Glide fender will fit.

Well, as far as I know the WG and FB have the same fender width so I can't see why this wouldn't work on a FB fender also - but the wheel/tire will look awfully lonely.

 

This is incorrect. The fatbob fender WILL fit. Just ask slipstream (i think is the name - FXD w/ AME rake kit) who put a fatbob fender on.

BUT, the wide glide bry's fender is the same except about 1/2" narrower & will be cheaper than a fat bob fender.

 

I'm not sure when the Wide Glide came into existence but in 2009 the Wide Glide was not produced.
The Fat Bob has been with us since 2008 & the frame still remains the same to this day. In 2008 & 2009 it was the only Dyna to sport an OEM 200mm rear tire.
In 2010 the Wide Glide was re-introduced with 200mm rear tire on a modified Fat Bob frame that has more rake in the neck. The rear portion of the 2010+ WG & 2008+ FB frames are the same and are the only Dynas that have an OEM 200mm rear tire. These frames are made for a 9" wide rear fender... that’s why the 2010+ WG rear fender is a direct bolt on swap for the Fat Bob only. All other Dyna frames ARE NOT made for a 9" rear fender.
The pre-2009 Wide Glides have a narrower rear tire & fender... that's why a PRE-2009 Wide Glide rear fender WILL FIT a Street Bob.
This is also why a Fat Bob rear fender WILL NOT FIT on a Street Bob .

 

Yes It will fit, its a tight fit, but can be done.
I put an 09 FB Fender on my 07 FXD Super Glide, Covers my 200 Pirelli real nice.

Actually they were the only dyna to come with an OEM 180 tire. A Dunlop D427 - 180/70-16 rear tire I do believe.

As for "will not fit", slpstrm PROVED it does.

I'm still trying to decide is I want to put my WG fender on, or get a FB fender so I can run that tri-bar taillight.
