The heavy breather looks like a submarine coming out of the side of your bike. I just ordered a Roland Sands Design Venturi big sucker. I'll let you know how it works out.

The heavy breather clears leg room and I like the look of it. Never had a problem with mine.

I was basically torn between the round & torpedo look but heard good things about the AN big sucker and it seems like a lot of people with round ones are using either that one or the SE stage I. The RSD was also on the list but was a little out of my price range for now.

thanks for the input

That does look nice... I'm also doing new mirrors and chroming out the hand controls so it might all boil down to how much cash I have left over. I'm thinking the AN big sucker or SE stage I and using the round center of the stock cleaner cover as the cap. I saw someone on here did that and it looked pretty sweet. Plus that would save my cheap *** some loot.

that's how i had mine until i installed the heavy breather (out of boredom, mostly).

i also had a tank lift on it for awhile. i eventually removed it as it didn't seem to do much except cause me to wonder how much gas was actually in the tank...

I don't think the Heavy Breather takes anything away from the tank lift. I love the look of the two together. Here a couple of angles of it on my bike.

Ive got the zippers maxflow, similar to the big sucker, but a smaller diameter for more leg room. It sticks out a little farther, so that there is still the same amount od filter surface area. Plus, the smaller diameter shows off more engine, if that matters to you.

The heavy breather is on my list though, i love the look of it, aggressive and sporty.
