Default Mobile device charging - need ideas

I know I can't be the only one that needs to charge phones and iPods while on the road. What are you folks doing for access to power to keep everything charged? I figure a cigarette lighter type tap but where and how to mount it. Maybe there's a better way?

I mounted a Bell power outlet (cig lighter) behind my battery cover. It sits tight under the seat and is hard to see. I made a simple mount for it that bolts under the seat. I'd post pics of the installation and the parts needed, but I don't know how to do it.

I've got a 2-pin connector pigtail tucked under my seat. Works with the Battery Tender™ and I spliced the mating plug to a 4-way cigarette lighter that I toss in my saddlebag. Charges phone and iPod and powers GPS.

I did something similar but have it tucked behind the electrical box cover.

I just bought this bike and haven't looked under the battery cover for space constraints and such. The opposite side has no space at all. Thanks for the input.

I hardwired my iphone plug to the bike. No use of cigarette lighter outlets.

I am getting a second dash and plan on mod'n it to flush mount my iPhone or iTouch. Then I am running all my wires under the panel. I am also trying to modify my XM/Sirius Skydock so I can use it with my XM/Sirius app. I will be pig tailing for power like some people on here already did.

On my frame there was a hole for an ignition switch that was not used, so I mounted the 2 pin outlet there and have a bag on my battery cover. I plug it in and put the cord in the bag, if I need to plug in my electric gloves I run the end out the front of the bag so it is very easy to access. I can put my phone in the bag to charge. You can see the bag in the vid.

There're a few posts out there for other options too. I used the accessory plug under the seat. It's switched power. The battery tender and usb are good ideas too. Mine is a cig lighter mounted right under the battery box. Only problem is it's in plain sight and it gets a little warm sometimes...plan on moving it, but it works for now.
