Congrats, originally got all my licenses between 74 and 80. However due to circumstances beyond my ability to talk my way out of. I HAD to drive/ride illegal for several years. I know the relief you must feel by not having to worry or look over your shoulder anymore.
True that. It was quite liberating to ride without having the fact that your riding illegal in your subconscious.
Here in California getting pulled over without endorsement will cause the bike to be impounded for 30 days and you are charged towing and storage for the entire time.
I have heard Washington State will impound the bike as well but I'm not 100% sure of that.
I rode for a few months without a license, took the MSF course about 4 years ago. And I dont know about all of ya'lls states, but wtf, I dont even have to have insurance in the home state of FL. Everyone whining about insurance companies etc., etc., Last time I wrecked a bike it ended up on a truck and back in the garage within an hour. Police report? Insurance claim? what are those. I guess unlike some, when I sit on a lump of coal it doesn't turn into a diamond.
