I have put about 500 miles on my '10 FXDWG with the new set up. Big Shots, Heavy Breather, and ThunderMax. IT SOUNDS AWESOME... Deep, throaty, and just the right amount of LOUD.

Lowered the idle to the 880's and it sounds fantastic. Considering going down to lower 800's but don't want it to sound like it's struggeling to stay at warm idle. Any suggestions on idle speed?

Thats the beauty of the ThunderMax. You can tinker with all those settings and never have to put the bike on a dyno. IMO, totaly worth the extra couple hundred $'s to be able to change the sound and performance of your bike on your own. I am quite computer literate and I have to say, it's as easy as the click of a button. But read the users manual first. LOL.

Thinking of throwing some cam's in this summer. Any suggestions?

 

I'm running V&H short shots, I love the noise they make and the look on the bike. Like everyone said look around and get a feel for what you want.
