Hi Folks,

yesterday I've ran out of gas with my wife's XB9S, this morning I put a bottle of gas in it; won't fire up, I phone my indy who's saying that I've got to put more gas, did it, still won't start !

It will take a while for the gas to get to the carb. Try a little starting fluid to help

Is your pump coming on when you turn the bike on? If not check relays

If there was a little bit of crud in the bottom of the tank it might've gotten sucked into the line or filter when the gas level dropped.

Pull the fuel line off the throttle body and point the end of it into a can (big one) then turn on the ignition and see if it sprays fuel into the can. If not she is clogged somewhere or the pump is not working.

I agree with what's been said. Most likely some crud in the filter. Check the filter and if so replace it. It keeps the crud out of your injectors.

How new was the gas that you put in? Bad gas has caused me too many problems and I'm not talking intestinally.
