Default New Fenders and Brake Light on my 09 Street Bob

I will update with pics as I get them, but I will be getting Joe's old front and rear fenders soon. He has powdered them black for me, so I will just have the red tank and AC once completed. You can see the fenders here:

https://www.hdforums.com/forum/membe...3-24gvj4n.html

The rear fender is the older Bob one and will look nice with the bags, and provide more coverage for my wife's rear from the wet roads.

I have also gotten this brake light:

Which will fit the fender exactly, since this is the light Joe had on it. (I'll get it powdered down the road. After I get some new sigs to get done with it)

Then I will break out the wires to the sigs and run them seperately under the fender to each signal. Eventually, I plan to get these sigs to fit under the bags:

Anyway, wish me luck! First time horsing around with electrical. Should help when I do the front end work next winter.

Guys I meet in real life will have to take a quiz to figure out what year and model my bike is!

Hey bud took a min to write this up... what i would do if i was you... well what i did i should say... where your wires come out from the middle of the bike to head back to the rear part of the fender. i would run shrink wrap around your inner fender strut support (cut two small holes for the fender support threads to come though) feed your wire though this, then you can heat it and shrink it up nice and tight, that will keep it away from your tire and is an easy safe way to store it out of the way of your light. you can do this on both sides, one side run your signal for that side and a ground, the other run your signal for the other side, running light, brake light, and ground, then tap all the grounds together i front of the rear tire, solder it all up and your done.

if you do it like this it should look like this, you will need to use a body pannel wire attachment at the front and one at the back of the fender, they use 3m adhesive and are at any hardware store, then some small zip ties

*color of the wires are not accurate i just grabbed random colors... but your owners manual will go over it as well*
