I got another one of those what if posts. I am wanting to put a fatter front tire on my fxdbi and am wondering if anybody has done it and if there are any potential problems. I really like the look of the fat front tire.

Billybobber put a fat 16 inch tire on the front. Looks real nice.

 

I think the mods of this forum should pay Rudoli to photoshop people's ideas. If you haven't checked out his springer bob in another thread look at his work. Every idea someone has for some BS to put on their bikes just email him and he can make it fake happen.

I have an 01 fxd and put a 110 metzler up front. Fits great - rides great. No more skipping across the steel grates or getting caught in the highway pavement groves. Some say it looks funky I say it looks great.

It's not my bike it's from another post ( link above ) I just posted the pic so you didn't need to go to a new thread to see it.

 

I like the look of that front tire Nazman, but i think the windshield would have to go. Those fender mounts sure stick out they would have to go as well. Anybody know what the biggest tire you could put on the front.
