Default Switchblade style wheels on my 06 Street Bob

Ok I purchased 2 switchblade wheels from EBay and sent them out to be chromed and they look great. The front wheel is supposed to be a 09 and the rear is a 07. It turns out after removing the bearings that both rims have HD bearing p/n 9247 which are the 1in ID. So my question is: After installing new bearings ($30.00 each ouch) can I still use the 06 stock wheel spacers? I already purchase the correct front brake rotor so that’s taken care of. I am so looking forward to getting rid of my spoke wheels. Finally no more polishing those damn spokes.

So you had to get defferent Rotors also?
Are they different from Spokes to Mags or is it cause of the different year wheels?
I've been whatching for a set but haven't seen any used ones up for sale. What did you have to give for them?

In a previous thread you said you had an '09 rear and an '07 front?
Were the bearings flush to the bore? If they were protruding then the wrong bearings were/are installed.
The wheels were chromed with the bearings installed?
Have you already installed the bearings and did you install the 21mm or 15mm thick bearings?

DYJ, the rear rotor is the same, but the front mag uses a different rotor than the laced wheel.

Just went through this a while ago. The older 1" bearings are thicker than the 25mm bearings so some more spacing has to be done to compensate. I believe that's what a previous poster had said too.

Bike looks great. And yes the years were reversed on the wheels which was my fault in the post. Both had 1in bearings in them and I didnt notice them protruding from the wheel but I wasnt looking. Ill press in an old bearing to see before I install the new ones.

Just measure the bore depth on the rotor side, should match the width of the bearing.

I finally got everything straightened out with the switchblade wheel swap and installed them today. I think they look great, well worth the effort. Thanks for the help guys!
