Default its only a stupid little thing...

..that ultimately pisses you off.

Seems the only wrench I am missing from my tool box is the one that fits the clutch Jam nut. Anyone know what size the nut is so i buy the correct wrench?

thx

Karl,

For this p/n 7848W, jam nut (grade 2 steel), 7/16-20 X 1/4 X 11/16 a hex ring wrench should help you out....

BTW, take a look over here...

Line up all your wrenches, Its the one thats not there..
Just messin with ya.
Standard SAE 11 wrench set runs 1/4, 5/16, 3/8, 7/16, 1/2, 9/16, 5/8, 11/16, 3/4, 7/8, 1"
If 5/8's too small and 3/4's too big...well

it funny 'cause its true, 11/16 is missing! Coulda swore i had one....

conversely, my Torx set does have the one bit that you'd usually have to buy separately, a T27 bit for the derby cover colts, go figure.

Thanks all, a trip to the hardware store in the morning and i'll finally be able to get the clutch adjusted.

Rene, cool link. Are you coming down for the Swiss 500 mile challenge?
