Gimme your tips, for riding in the rain

Believe it or not, these things track pretty good on wet roads. I've been through some monsoon type conditions and the bike tracked OK. Just don't ride like a maniac, stay to the right ... yeah I use my emergency flashers when it get's real bad. Tar snakes, painted lines and the center of lanes (oily sometimes) should be avoided.

Just ride it easy and smoothly. Slow it down and when you think your smooth enough try to get smoother! Like the earlier posters said try to stay to either side of the lane, and avoid those painted anythings (especially those giant lane turn arrows), metel construction plates and manholes if theyr'e in your turn apex.
If the group you're with doesn't slow down enough for you, ride your own ride and let them go. If something feels really squirrelly to you, change lanes or even roads if you have to, It might be some kind of bigger oil spill.
Just do everything easier than you would normally and you'll be fine.

big city slick
I usually ride in WI and the stay out if the center rule works fine. Two years ago I was in Chicago in a heavy downpour, that people say will wash off oil. Not true. Whole city super slick, almost dropped at red light. Go real slow on heavy traffic areas, especially in poor neighborhoods where beaters are dripping oil, transmission fluid. Ride your own ride, don't try to impress anyone. Someone told me the paint has teflon in it, that's why it is like black ice, don't be leaning when you hit road paint.
