Default 14" ape on 08 street bob question

I know that 14 inch apes can be installed with stock cables as ive seen the posts on here about guys doing it by straightening out the throttle cable ends just wondering if you guys that have done this had to extend the wiring harness at all for the internal wires
oh yea I just bought a set of Carlini 14" X 1.25" evil apes They will be +2" from the current 12" road six customs z bars Ive got on the bike with a little more pull back.

As far as I know there is enough wiring for 14". The cable was the main issue.

There was plenty of wire when we put the 14" apes on mine. Like you said, the cables will fit with a little straightening out of the throttle/idle elbows and bending the brake line straighter.

Here's my 15" apes. The wiring was fine. I had to re-route the clutch cable to the right side and play with the brake line till I was happy. After straightening out the throttle cable I covered it with shrink wrap and blends a lot better then seeing the metal.

Here's with my first set of 15" apes. Some people think there is tension on the throttle cable, well there is not, I just did not zip tie it back to the backbone. In the pic above you can see it moved to the backbone. There's plenty.

I have 14 inch carlini bars with 2 inch risers and my cables were tight, i replaced them. I used novello wire extensions also.
