Default front fork seals

I have a 2003 low rider. I replaced my fork seals about 2000 mi.s ago and they are leaking again. Does anyone have a suggestion for seals other than HD. Surely someone makes a better seal.

It usually takes years for a fork seal to leak. Something else is going on besides bad fork seals.

That's not normal by any stretch. It's not due to the quality of the seals...

Inspect your fork tubes very closely - either there is some small nicks in them, the seals get damaged on installation or dirt got in there.

look at the bushing below the seal too, if it is worn out then the tube will walk around and waste the seal.

If you put that oil seal on upside down it will leak also (don't ask me how I know this)..... other than that it sounds like you have a "nick" on your downtube.

Guys the downtubes are not nicked. I will doublecheck correct installation when I install the next set. I do have the maintainance manual so I will be extra carefull. I guess I was a little misleading on OP. Bike only has 2,000 mi.s on seals but I replaced seals 4 years ago. I have 2 bikes and I don't ride the dyna that often. Does anyone have a 2nd source for fork seals?

Forks are by Showa - I doubt you'll find better quality, get the complete rebuild kit and replace all the bushings and seals........and look REAL CLOSE at the tubes, damage can be very small and still cause the seal to fail.
