Default Fat Bob Foot Pegs for 2009 FXDF

First time post, hope I don't blow up anything.

Loving my Fat Bob but on long highway rides, I'm wishing for somewhere else to be able to move my feet to.

I'm considering an engine guard/crash bar setup with foot pegs mounted to that, but I'm not overly keen on that look.

There are two holes on both sides of the frame where standard controls would be mounted to. I am wondering if anyone makes a folding pegs setup that could be bolted into those holes to make the miles go a bit easier.

Any advice is most welcomed.

Thanks!
Mako

Look on E-Bay, get some mid mount takeoffs, pick out the plastic plugs that fill those holes. I have two new stock footpegs for the mounts if you need them. $20. I did the same to my FB. I found chrome ones, but i also saw black mounts. PM me if interested in the pegs to get started.

Awesome! Do you have a photo of your bike that shows the pegs by any chance?

Thanks!

Here ya go...

Plain Jane pegs on stock mid control mounts, just fold em down with your heel when you're out on the highway & kick em up on the exit ramp... very comfortable on a long cruise.
These would work for ya... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...984.m159.l1634

You'd be amazed how much more comfortable it is to have a small platform for a peg...one that can turn to give you different angles.

Here are pics of a couple of designs we have. All of them can be seen at this LINK.

I went with wider pegs and it helped a good bit, I also use my passenger pegs when I'm solo just to move around, it's kinda like having rearsets.
