Question Windvest

I'm thinking of putting a windvest windshield on my 2011 Street Bob.. but am a bit concerned about it fitting well with the risers built into the top triple tree as they are now.

Anyone else have a windvest on their FXDB?

Actually yes I did have one and still do but dont use it anymore. It does not fit correctly with the later model SB built in riser and as a result it scratched the top of my trees. Also I don't care how much you read but they will mark your handlebars. I bought the HD compact and like it 100 times better and it comes off in about 15 seconds. Windvest is a quality product but not for a late model Street Bob.

Here you go. Very functional and it literally comes off in about 15 seconds and leaves zero parts on the bike.

The Windvest looks much better IMO even if its harder to remove. Doesn't change the look of the bike as much as a larger windshield. I have the 14" and it works great. What a difference!

Does your bike have the risers built into the top triple tree?

Yes. I don't know who the genius is that decided to use those and what was the reason. The old way worked just fine.

I have the HD quick release sport shield on mine. You can see it in my photos. Love it.
