Checked Griffs pics and that does look good, but I have been looking around and the more I look, the more I am realizing that this seems to be the pictured fairing on the progressive site.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWAX%3AIT

And it does in fact seem to be a Ness 1/4 fairing, although not the one that has the straight sides that seems to be the norm for Streetbob applications.
The brackets that mount these fairings seem to be very adjustable so I guess a headlight block and 2 49mm fork clamps and I would be in business.

Wow! Awesome!! Thanks!!! Is primer finish similar to a black powder coat look? And, do you happen to know which is most likely the best fit on a 2011 FXDB (street bob dyna?)

I am no expert at the matte paints. I have a gloss black ride. I would suspect that any of these will be easy to bolt on with the proper headlight block and 49mm fork clamps.

Personally I like the ebay one I linked, and it seems that is the one you like also. Now all we need to find is the best place to get the brackets or call Arlen Ness for some part numbers specific to the 49mm midglide setup on the Streetbob, with that Fairing I posted a link to on ebay.

I like the looks of the Ness fairing too, but some research brought up some breakage issues so maybe look to do some re-enforcing if you get it mounted and notice some flex in the fairing.

I would run either one, but the Rifle seems very well made and I got a good deal on it so I am going with it...both give a similiar look, but I am more after the taller shield.

My brother wants to run the bubble (short) shield, but he got one that cam with the tall shield included so on longer trips he can just bolt that on for more protection.

-PS-
Do a search...I've seen those Ness Fairings cheaper than that auction.

That's not bad... How about function? Do they do anything for wind, or are they strictly for looks only?

Too bad they don't make one that will accept a 7" fatboy headlight, then I'd be interested.

When selecting the mounting kits, there is an option for the Fatboy / Heritage, so it will may fit.

You can email them and ask...Rifle has answered every question I've sent them in pretty short time.
