This is true and that was my thread. The bars that were recalled were the Bonanza I's (first generation). They had 90 degree bends at the bottom of the bars and they changed that to the rounded bottom on the Bonanza II's. It was bars manufactured from 08-10. They found that their robot or something wasn't fully penetrating the welds. They never had one fail, but they found the problem on a Quality check and found a couple bars with fractures. No reported breaks. They stood behind there product and the Bonanza II's are good to go. I didn't have a problem with my originals (first generation), but they sent me the new bars (bonanza II's) and I sent them the old bars and they paid for it all.
