Nice thanks for the info. boys. I was wondering about the nut setup.

Does the nut stick far out when the pillion isn't on? Is it real visible? Can the plug still be used to cover the nut too?

Pillion is definitly what I was looking for for the wife. The Danny Gray would have been to narrow for sure. I like the back support on the mustang too. The quality is GREAT. The solo & pillion both have huge rubber studs coming out to protect the paint and reduce vibration. The frame of both seats is powder coated heavy duty steel.

Only complaint I have is that you kind have to put some muscle into getting the pillion into the solo seat washer. Though it would slip in more smoothly.

Danny Gray Weekday 2up XL is the way to go!!! Great for you and she will love it. My wife absolutely loves the comfort of it. Now she has her own Harley, but the seat still looks sweet on my ride!! If you want anymore pics or info, just hit me up...

 

no doubt thats a comfortable seat. I looked at that one, but it's way more $$$ than the Mustang. I also wanted the solo option cause my wife will probably ride with me a few times on Sundays. Danny Gray does make some quality saddles.
