Gas in Air cleaner.

Gas in Air cleaner.
Well pulled air cleaner to see what it was looking like and it seems I have a bit of gas in the cleaner and housing. I am running a Arlen ness super sucker on a 2010 street bob. It this normal to have gas in the cleaner? Noticed it has a gas smell when I start it also. Any feed back appreciated.

Install was easy I removed it last night to clean it out and check things. There were two black hoses on the stock AC that I was told I did not need so I removed them? Only thing I can think of is that the map I have loaded in my PCV could be causing it to run to rich. I think I may pull the PCV and hook the stock computer back up to see how it runs. I have not done anything else other then the Arlen ness big sucker and the V&H shot shots which should make the bike learner if I understand correctly.

Uh, the black hoses help your heads breath. There is a pressure build up in the pushrod tubes and heads and that pressure and oil vapor goes out those tubes into the intake tract for re-burn. If you live in the high rpm's, is quite possibly being pushed out of the cylinders during compression back into the air filter. Apologize for the long reply but these engines need to breathe.
