Wanting New Apes For '07 Street Bob

So I think I am going to go with the 14" Santee black apes, but I am wondering if +6 on the Barnett clutch/throttle/idle cable would leave me with too much slack that it would be annoying or would it be ok? From what I have heard from a lot of you guys on here is that my wires and brake line will be fine sticking with stock lengths. I just don't want to adjust or bend any stock to make it work. I am fine with getting new stuff if I have to, but the more I money I can save the better.

I installed 14" burly's this winter. I just had the opportunity to take the bike out this week and so far I love the look and how they feel. I haven't put on too many miles yet so I don't know how they will be long distance yet but so far, it was a great decision. I could have gotten away with my stock wires but I did add 4". I didn't buy the kid, I soldered in my own. I bought new cables because my stock ones would not have fit.
