I got my heads a couple of days ago ... had ordered silver powdercoated Screamin Eagle MCR Performance heads ....

Taped off all the machined surfaces and ready to start painting them black as soon as I get some time ... I am working this weekend ....

I plan to paint the cylinders black while I am installing the heads ... when I have the exhaust, intake, etc. removed, I'll pull the jugs and spray them ... then reinstall and have the heads already blacked out ....

Hope to complete the project before next weekend ....

I'll post up some photos as I go ....

Default R/continues ....

By popular demand ... (and the fact that I have been wanting to do it, as well) ...

... I just hit the heads with a coat of semi-gloss Rustoleum engine enamel high-temp (500 degree) paint ...

I'll get the cylinders when I have my bike down for installation of the heads ....

Hoping to have it ready to go this weekend ... I'm going to the Blue Ridge Bike Fest in Roanoke Saturday ....

Bike looks great. That black will look good. Thats a cool tool bag you got too. Those are hard to find and pricey when you do.

Thanks for the props fellas ....

Got photos of the heads after removing the tape ... I think they turned out pretty good ... going to hit the cylinders with the same stuff when I have it taken down for the installation job ....
