Have them on my night train pass.,my girl with her big feet loves them.cooler she says.i hate the look of them but have to keep her happy new pics coming its in storage
Has anybody put those mini floorboards on their Dyna and how do you like them compared to the pegs if you have photo's please post them !
I like them a lot more than my previous peg and peg/stirrup arrangement. At high speeds my feet used to be lifted off the pegs, but the boards seem to absorb the wind. Now my feet can also move around a bit, my heel is no longer stationary against a peg or stirrup. When taking off from a stop, my feet don't have to reach as far to find support.
So far, I haven't found anything negative to say about my floorboards. Just mount them tight with blue loctite as soon as you get them positioned right.
I ran both single mount floorboards, the mini's and the large. Both are comfy once you get them adjusted right. The only complaint I can say about them is "IF" you really run fast (80+mph) your feet do not stay on them as well as your feet stay on pegs. But for any normal riding, I liked them quite well. The larger ones more so than the mini's.
the minis were ok, but the full size floors boards, now thats great, thanks to bikerlaw, whom refer me to them, I got them on my scooter now, and absofrickinglutly love them, comfort its the name of the game.
I run joker machine large adjustable pegs, they are about half the size of mini floorboards but let my feet remain stable. I like to wear my old cowboy boots when I ride and they used to slip off my pegs but these pegs let my feet sit real nice.
