I am wanting to get forward controls for my 07 SG. I am 6'2, would the extended forward controls be better or would the regular forwards be fine. They each cost the same from J&P Cycles, just wondering which ones I should go with.
I have read the reviews and the riders said they were 6'4. Just wondering if the extended would make me stretch out to far.
Your height doesn't matter, it's your inseam. If you have a 33" or more inseam, go with the extendeds. With my 2" extendeds and my 34" inseam, I have a perfect fit.
Get the extended the longer the better some are 2 inches ,some go 3 and a half .im 6 3 and i need them !!!getting a set of a member here this weekend, you also need a extended shift rod and brake line and brake bleed done .not cheap!
I'm not a tall guy at 6' and extended would be the route I would go. My stock forwards are almost to cramped, not enough to pay for new extended ones but my knee does knock the a/c.
