Default A few new items for my FXDC...

Installed a Sundowner Deep Bucket, Sissy Bar, and Luggage rack to my FXDC. My wife told me I better have them on before riding season because it needed to be ready for her to ride with me so who am I to argue, huh? LOL

That looks nice. I have the exact same bike. What size is that backrest?

Looks great. Did you have any trouble installing the sissy bar brackets? I tried to install mine but could not remove the turn signal bolts. They hit the tire when I try to remove them. Be interested in knowing if you had the same issue.

Whenever I have to remove the bolts holding the turn signals to the strut I put my bike on the lift and unbolt the shocks. When I jack the bike up the rear wheel stays on the ground and it gives me the room I need to work under the fender.

I let the air out of the tire. Easy, as long as you have a compressor to re inflate it.

I have the same setup on mine, very comfy. Also picked up a sundowner solo for a change of pace, also comfy, but sets me back a little further.

Thanks all! My buddy has a bike jack so we lifted the bike up and it dropped the rear tire enough for us to get the bolts out - we didn't have to unbolt the shocks. It's the rigid mount brackets and they were fairly easy to put on.

The sissy bar is the medium low bar. HUGE difference is seat comfort that's for sure!

I too have the same setup. I only wish it sat back a bit giving me a few more inches and the wife a few less
