Should the 2002 Dyna low have a side stand cut out switch fitted? Read recently someone was having trouble with one - mine's never had one that I about!

i think those came out on the newer bikes 06 and up. My 02 and 05 don't have them and unless mandated by the President of the US probably never will.

I did! It was on semi damp grass at a bike gathering. It know it was in neutral when I left it (I let it idle while parked when we arrived so a guy could listen to the exhaust). A bit later I started it for a friend and let the clutch out, it just sat there and spun the tire with out lurching forward or even trying to move. Someone was probably messing with it in my absence and kicked it in gear.
