Default Sold My Wide Glide

Well I sold my bike yesterday. Don't have a real good reason for selling it, just decided I was ready for something different. So, the search is on for my next ride. No telling what I might end up with. Maybe a Softail?

Spring is here. Shop fast. You're not gonna buy a rice burner or a Victory are you?

Well you can get good deals on new 2010 models now. Where I live they are about 3-4,000 off and some 103 upgrades thrown in.

Wow, selling at the beginning of riding season??? I think you're crazy, but I hope you find one that's just right. Of course if I didn't have one, I think the next one I sat on would be just right....

Definately not getting a rice burner. A Victory, maybe, but probably not. It'll be another Harley of some kind.

Dude, I live in SE Texas. Riding season is year round here. I won't be without a bike for long.

I would go street glide before softail, I think a custom street glide is a really nice bike to look at and I love the way they ride.

Buy a piece of history ... shovelhead, panhead of knucklehead ... not necessarily in that order .....

Of course, there's another thread on the Dyna forum that may be of interest ... 2011 FXDC with Harley 103 kit plus other extras has to go ....

A Street Glide, I wish. They are a bit out of my price range though.

Man, I love shovels, but I couldn't see owning one as my only bike. I wrench for a living (Big Trucks/Trailers), and don't want a bike that requires a lot of wrenching.

An FXDC with a 103 would be cool, but that's out of my price range too. I doubt I'll buy anything new. There are too many nice used bikes on the market for good prices.
