Tall(ish) Man in search of the perfect Harley
Hello together,
I am 6.3 and 90 kg, so rather normal. After not having a harley for about 8 yrs I decided to buy myself one again.
The problem I have now, is that I have the feeling that most HDs were made for shorter people and I really can't figure out which model would fit me best.
I tend most towards a dyna, and I really like the modified Street Bobs I see around here.
Could you taller guys tell me about your experiences with various models?
Thanx for your tips and propositions.
P.S. The Touring Models are out of question.
P.P.S. I didn't know in which forum to post this, hope its ok here.

Im 6'4" with a size 15 foot and my FXST with 16" apes and 3" forward controls fits fine after 83,000 miles in the saddle. As far as touring I was leaning tears a road king but felt it would need a lot of customizing to make it fit then a friend with a SG suggested it to be a better fit and after sitting on one I agree. No I have not ridden it but if sitting on it is any indication it was thebest fit for just sitting on it. I would just have to get over the sharknose fixed fairing. Hope that helps .

I don't know if you could really say the bikes are too short, there is no way to make all the bikes one size fits all. I have a fatbob, came stock with forwards, but they need to go out a bit. The drag bars are a pain, I got the spacer which helped but yesterday got some mini apes on 14 inches, haven't sat on her yet but looks like it will be much better size wise. If you go WG for 50 bucks spacerjim brings those bars up 2 inches to fit you better, my spacer will be up for sale soon for $20 bucks...

WG with a different seat will do you well. With the stock seat, you find yourself pushing back onto the passenger pillion and it's a tail bone killer. Mine was anyway.
