My guess is that it is the styling.

 

I am glad not everyone likes it. Would be boring if everyone was riding the same bike.

 

The looks of the Fat Bob is what attracted me. The fact that it rode and handled great was icing on the cake. 650 to 700 mile days have not been a problem. I've gotten a lot of comments from other riders that say they like the stance of the bike. I like the fact that you don't see that many on the road, not like the Street Glides, at least in my area.

 

It's nothing that can't be changed to taste. I have not heard any complaints from the owners of a Fat Bob, performance-wise.

 

Well, I loved my '09 till it developed a mysterious vibration. I've done everything except tear down the engine, and that's not going to happen. So I'm getting rid of mine.

 

My 17th V-Twin , My 16th is a Road king for the long haul , My Fatbob is my scoot for scootin !!! It's different and that's what i like ! Love everything about this bike !
