Default J&P shortened sidestand

I bought this sidestand when I lowered the bike last year and I have noticed where it is kind of digging into my primary. When it is in the up position it does not touch the little rubber bumper on the frame. i have moved the bumper and there is nowhere that it will come in contact with the sidestand. Anyone else run into this and come up with a solution? Any suggestions?

Can you glue a rubber bumper on the primary, maybe with some RTV?

You can grind the stand where it contacts or heat it up and bend it away. My shorter stand did the same until I took a bit off and bent it.
