why did harley davidson can the lowrider...it was a great bike...better than street bob or wide glide imho....does anyone know when and if the fxdl will make its return?
They killed it because it was a shiney bike with all the chrome goodies. Harley's infinite wisdom has determined that "Dyna's" are to be stripped down flat bikes with no chrome. Just look at their line up. Only 1 bike, the Superglide Custom, has the full chrome package. The rest are all very plain looking motorcycles. The Low Rider was a decked out chrome *****. To me a brand new motorcycle with flat paint and no chrome is like a flat chested woman with a bad hairdo. But I don't work for Harley and with Dyna's selling fairly well, I am apparently wrong in my thinking
Is the price firm? I may be willing to go $999,999.00 but $1,000,000.00 for a '99 seems a bit high.

they would prob dumb it down like they did with the new wideglide, just make it cheaper and call it the new lowrider minus all the stuff that made them special in the first place
