I talked to a dealer and he said there were two bikes being discontinued for 2012. One was the crossbones, he couldn't remember what the other one was. Maybe harley will replace one of them with the lowrider. My preference would be something like the night train

If harley is going to call the black line, the black line should be all black bikes. What's up with the chrome pipes, intake, fork uppers ect.

Why would they bring it back? It's already in the line up, just called the Custom. Same bike to me now. And why call it a low rider, my street bob sits lower.

The FXDC sealed it's fate. I've got one of each, FXD and FXDLI, My Superglide all dressed up is the two work horse. The Lowrider is my "my time" ride. It's turned more heads at bike nights up at the dealer then I can count. The L/R still has it's looks.

Rumors are the Rocker, Crossbones and Trike being discontinued in 2012.

Yeah that's whats been going around. I'm wondering if there will be any "replacements" at all for 2012 MY. They just released the blackline and 1200 custom so who knows?. It would be nice to see the night train or deuce come back. The Night Train is the only bike I would consider trading in my FB for, but I don't think I'd do it anyway.

I bought my Lowrider because the seat position takes all of the pressure off my lower back and I can ride all day. I'll never sell it now that I have had the full IPB and rotor stator fix done. It rides and tracks perfectly.

vet767 you are so right. For resale on a used fxdl the price will be top dollar, thats the law of supply and demand. The 1999 fxdl I have will be worth 1,000,000.00 to someone. My thought is the lowrider is a darn cool machine with much standard equipment on it.
