Depends what you are comparing it to I suppose - I'm sure its no Ohlins but its 100% better than the stock POS shocks which I considered very harsh. These ride pretty nicely, I've run them solo with about 10psi or 2up with about 20psi and have found that even riding solo the ride isnt much worse so I just leave it set at 20lbs. These were new take offs (std height 54565-09) off ebay for just $52 - you'll need the link kit for about $55 or just put in schrader valves on each for much less. For the price you cant got wrong IMO
