I think the best way to figure out where you bars go is to sit on the bike in a natural position with your eyes closed and reach out you arms to where you would want them naturally. Open your eyes and adjust the bars accordingly.

I haven't read all the posts on this thread, so I could be repeating what someone else said. With that disclaimer...

As many have advised, look into forward controls (shifts the foot pegs and controls forward) or go for highway pegs. You could try going to the dealer and sitting on a wide glide - this bike comes with forward controls stock, so you can sit on that and put your feet on the pegs and see how it feels. Handlebars also make a huge difference.

What I haven't seen mentioned (and I probably missed it) is a windshield. Some guys don't think they look cool... but I tell you, on a longer ride the wind can just about beat you to death... especially on the highway. If you feel your body getting tired, it could be from straining against the wind.

If you choose to look into a windshield for your bike, ask around and get opinions here. There are a lot of choices out there, and every one here has a preference and can explain to you why the feel that way - then it's up to you to see which windshield meets your needs as far as comfort and how it looks on the bike.

I had a similar experience, I would say change the seat which I had mine re done by mean city cycles. I put highway pegs and kept the mid controls. I love that bike. I stop every 60 miles (every hour) to stretch.
