i'm thinking more and more of getting one just to see how it looks. might prop the tank up on a 2" block of wood, snap a few pics and post them up here for a few opinions.

i hate that damn sticker and refuse to put it on any part of my bike.

Tank lift? Please don't screw that beautiful bike up with a tank lift. It would look like you are trying to pass it off as something it isn't...a chopper. Not all bikes look good just blacking everything out-which is what alot of people seem to think looks good, but you did it with taste.

NICE LIGHTNING

I want one soooo bad

tight looking bike. are you gonna get ride of the rear brake light? It would be complete with a nice slick fender on it. Put a side mount plate on it. That would be awesome, awesome ride. Nice work

lol thanks man.

not easy having two money-pit toys.

shaved rear fender and side-mount plate/taillight set up are on the short list of mods.

probably the big project for next winter

I dont think there is any way to avoid that. I had mine powder coated and its bare rotor where the pads touch it. U can see in my picture attached

FYI...that was my 420th post : ) haha

Just to give you an idea of how much a 2" lift will change the look here's a comparison from when I did mine:
