I have found a wealth of information on this forum. With that said, what is a good seat to make my wife comfortable? I plan on running with the factory solo seat and will change seats when the wife goes with me. I am thinking about possibly buying the Harley touring seat for $230. What are your thoughts? It seems more comfortable than the passenger pillon seats. Any other suggestions?

After making here comfortable I need to more on to more important things like a new exhaust...

well i know my solo seat for my 06 bob has a removable passenger seat, which doesn't look as good, but is very comfortable from what i heard from the ol' lady. i'm sure you could possible find just the passenger seat and match it with your solo seat that you have since i see alot of people here only run the solo seat on their bob's

 

For passenger and long rides the pillow top touring seat is perfect.

 

I normally ride solo but the passenger pillion on the 10+ WGs really sucks. Like the OP I'd love to find a passenger pillion that is more comfortable but that can work with the stock solo seat or a solo/pillion combo that provides better passenger comfort.

 

how bout the corbin classic solo w/ pillon. I love my dual tour. I might have one for sale too.

 

I hate to spend the coin on a new one without a few opinions. I may search Craigslist for a used one.......I have 8 miles on the bike and more than 8 hours of research into accessories...Ha Ha.

 

I use the HD Sundowner when the wifes with me, looks like Hell, but it is comfy. Put the solo back on when riding alone.

 

I immediately went with the Mustang wide solo, the one that allows me to fit on the Mustang wide passenger seat, when needed. They also make the wide combo with the two seats integral, but I wanted the solo option as that's my preferred riding style My seat is 16.5" wide, her's is 12" wide. No complaints from either of us.

 

Not trying to thread jack here but I just bought a 2011 wide glide and want to change out the seat so the wife can ride with me. can anyone suggest a site to purchase the wide glide seat? I live on Oahu so the cost at the dealership is quite a bit more than on the mainland thanks.

 

I normally ride with the stock solo seat with a rear fender bib. When two up I add the "Smooth styling" Passenger Pillion from the HD Catalog. Definitely better than the stock brick seat.

Oh yeah, tried out the Sundowner. It was on my bike for about 3 minutes before I tore it off and took it back to the dealership.
