Dealing with a 2007 FXD with a brain fart. The security system seems to have decided that I'm not good enough to ride the beast. I turn the key, it gives me flashing tunsignals, left/right/left/right. The starter cranks, but no fire. I didn't hear the fuel pump kick in, either.
Changed the battery in BOTH of my fobs and no joy.
Stuck one right up to the left front turnsignal, then the other, then both. No joy.
Any ideas from the genius bar here?

 

Have you tried manually disarming security?

 

It wouldn't turn if the alarm were activated.

 

It is not the alarm system causing your problem. The bike would not even crank if it was the alarm. Since it cranks but you do not hear the fuel pump, check the fuses, check the fuel pump and wiring harness.

 

If the turn signals are flashing that is a warning and should be decoded. It is telling you the problem in code.
