I want to upgrade my butterfly carb that came on the machine. I just ride occasionally and don't need anything fancy. What is a good option and what parts will need besides the new carb?

 

Your choices are basically S&S Super E/G or Mikuni HSR 42. Personally, I like the Mikuni. There are kits for either that allow you to run stock cables and they will mate up to the stock manifold.

Prices anywhere from $250-$350. For the Mikuni you can get a complete kit for around $450-$500 that has everything.

 

Should be easy to find a used Keihin CV carb cheap.
