Default Burly cable kits?

Have any of you guys used the Burly cable kits for installing apes? How easy was the install? How accurate is the kit (if you ordered a 14" kit was there enough slack for 1" risers or more/less)? Quality?

I've never used a Burly kit, so I can't be of much help there. But I do know that ordering cables using Magnum's website is pretty easy. Good luck.

You might not need cable extensions.

I just got done installing some 16" apes with stock risers on 06 Street Bob and there was plenty of slack

Don't mean to hijack, but tell me about the kit you have.

www.magnumshielding.com At the top they have a 'select by bike' section. Click there, punch in your bike info, and you're pretty much set.

I am pretty sure I will need new cables. The Fatty comes with drag bars. I know all the Street Bob guys had the luxury of already having apes so putting on longer apes is not as big of a hassle.

So I have another question for those who might know... yet another cable length question. I have put the dimensions of my bars below and the bars I will be buying (Wild 1 14 in narrow apes - WO614). How far over stock should I be looking at here?

Current bars (factory drag bars)
30.75 in wide
6.5 in base
7 in pull back
0 in rise
5 in risers

New set up
33.5 in wide
10 in base
8 in pull back
14 in rise
1 in risers
