Glad that you are OK. Sounds like it was a hell of a ride. I agree with you on the helmet issue too.

 

I'm also glad to hear minimal damage to yourself. +1 on the helmut.

 

Glad you're alright, you weren't given permission to get hurt Leatherneck. I'm sure 'ol Chesty would be proud. Hope your tour in Asskrakistan goes by quickly and painlessly. Stay motivated, and keep us all posted.

 

Sounds like you had some good karma built up...I agree on the helmut issue...that ground is moving awful fast down there....have to keep that brainium inside where it belongs...Glad to hear you are safe.

 

I sure hope it was karma and not luck that I used up. I need all the luck I can get where I'm going. I hope I hear back from that adjuster soon. This beautiful weather is killing me slowly. I'm trying to decide between getting a local indy to put the bike back together or going with the local dealer. Dealer would probably be faster then the indy but the indy could do it for less, maybe allowing for more upgrades/mods

I finally heard back from the insurance adjuster. It looks like the Fat Bob may be taken off life support soon. He hasn't had a chance to actually see the bike and make an estimate but he talked to the dealer and they said the damage is probably over 10,000 dollars. The adjuster said if that's the case then the bike's totaled. I guess that means there's a Fat Boy lo in my future. I've already started looking into some mods. Fortunately a lot of the bike is already blacked out. Unfortunately it'll only be a dream till I get back from Afghanistan.
