Glad to hear your ok as well, I just switched from a novelty "brain Bucket" to a DOT 3/4 after seeing way too many guys not walking away like you did.

Glad to hear you only got a scrape, the bike can be fixed alot easier than you.. Hopefully insurance will cover some of the repairs...

I know everyone loves photos. I don't think it's totaled but I'm still waiting on the dealer and the adjuster to get their estimates together. Hopefully it can't be put back together before I leave for Afghanistan. I have to say I think Harley makes a pretty damn tough motorcycle. It doesn't look like it was wrecked doing 60mph. At least to me anyway

If it is totaled I'll have to make the move to the softail side of the forum because I think I'll get a Fatboy Lo. I'll try to sell it to my wife by describing it as a less sporty model

Glad you're ok. Sucks for the bike. If it's totaled buy a new one on deployment through Overseas Military Sales. Bought mine on my last deployment to Iraq. Stay safe over there, and get back here in one piece to ride another day!

I am glad you are o.k. Also a good angle to get the Fat Boy Low.
