Default 2007 FXDB Chrome Rear Fender Struts?

Hi,

I am having the hardest time trying to get chrome rear fender strut covers to cover or replace the stainless steel factory ones on my 2007 FXDB Street Bob..

Would anyone happen to have left/right part numbers for chrome covers or chrome replacements. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Stock item on LR and SGC so they are in the parts catalogs. Was also stock on the 06 models as well.

With a little elbow grease you can polish the brushed stainless steel ones up to shine just like the chrome ones. I think I paid $30 to have mine polished at the place where I was getting some chrome plating done. They look great.

Worth keeping an eye on eBay too. I did the same to my street bob.

Local dealer over here wanted £180 for the pair (about $300!), I picked up a pair on eBay for £10 delivered.

Shows how dumb I was, I thought they were polished aluminum.
In any case aren't they covered from the factory with some sort of laquer finish, just like the bottom of the front forks ?

My forks started showing blemish areas of what I thought was laquer and I have polished some of it off and got the chrome shine you are talking about, but I will have to remove the wheel to get it all.
