Pick up a used stock solo seat and send it to Mean City Cycles to customize the seat for you. They're a sponsor here and there are some posts of their work.

My wife has a 10 FXD, liked her seat much more than mine so picked one up on here for 75.00, much more comfortable and not that much dough for now......

I see what you're saying. I am 5'9'' and it fits me like a glove. I am slightly closer to the forward controls but it works out perfect for me. I don't know of any control extensions...

I just contacted mean city. It looks like he's only about an hour away from where I live. Does anyone know if the stock Brawler seat from an 07 Bob or a Stripper seat will fit on the glide?

I'm think of having one or both done up with the memory foam, recovering , and custom stitching. At $300.00 it's hard to beat this guys prices.
