hey folks i have an 02 wide glide (88) that id like to make a 96in. i have the jugs and pistons for this application. if someone would tell me exactly what else i need to complete this upgrade i would really appriciate it.... chad

 

The 96ci in 07 and newer bikes is just a stroked 88ci. 88ci stroke is 4" and the 96ci is 4.38". The best thing for you to do is to bore your cylinders to 95" or 98". While your at it you might as well put a set of cams in too.

 

thanx bro i thought the next step was 95in ill hav to chk the bore on these jugs. what about head and carb wrk?

 

The standard bore is 3.75 and 3.875 will get you 95". And 3.9375 will get you 98". It all comes down to how much $$$$ do you want to spend.

 

id like to pick up some more hp without splitting the cases

 

You dont need to get into the bottom to go to 98".
