I've been running West Coast 12" Tbars for some time now. Though this is my favorite setup, I had injured my elbow about a year ago and I'm seriously feeling it. I'm thinking of going with an ape hanger for a little more pullback for comfort. I'm open to all opinions on brands, personal preferences, and opinions on whether you think this is a possible fix.

 

I like apes because of it's pull back, it helps my back out alot. I would imaging that it would be the saame for you elbow. I am looking at getting the santee apes, I just don't know if I want the 14" or the 17". I like the look and feel of the higher ones, but I am not sure if my wallet will like the cost of them, I know Maryland would!
