Default Re: 2 into 1's

There are a lot of nice ones out there. One of the most popular is the Thunderheader, kind of odd looking, but supposed to have great gains and sound. Python,Caliber, Samson, V and H, Bassani, and Supertrapp all make nice systems. Not all include heat shields, though available for $ . There is another alternative which are the 2 into 2's with crossover chambers. The look traditional, but blend the 2 exhaust routes through a hidden chamber. Supposed to give some of the benefits of a 2 into 1, added back pressure, better scavenging, little deeper sound. Check out the above manuf websites, most have videos to give a good look

I have the street sweepers on my street bob. They are the chrome ones, but I think the sound is very nice. It's deep and loud. I have the baffles in, and can only imagine that if I take the baffles out how loud it would be. No problem being noticed though.

I'll nominate the black D&D Fat Cat. Deep sound and excellent performance.
