Bubs Lakester 2:1. Great deep throaty sound. Not too loud (unless you want it to be...). I've got nothin' but good comments from people on this pipe!

I don't mean to hijack but I have a related question. I have seen and heard the Bub Lakester 2:1 and they are great. One question - is ground clearance an issue in the tight turns? Ever scrape 'em?

I'm interested in knowing about this also.

It says here that a Fat Bob has clearance issues.

Congrats, just picked up an '11 FBob myself. Sound wise you'll have to listen to the system in person, recordings don't help. 2 into 1's will give you a deeper sound, better low end TQ and HP, 2 into 2's higher pitch, louder and gains higher up the power band. Samson makes a vicious looking 2 into 1, I posted a thread and link regarding it yesterday, there is even a video on the thread for an excellent view from all angles. I personally like the look of 2 into 2's better, but I won't be running at 6k rpm's very often, if ever, so I will be getting 2 into 1. IMO you have the best looking HD currently in production.

Re: on the clearance issues. The issue is with the stock air cleaner, not the ground, though it does hang awful low. I would want it to run parrallel with the swing arm.

Hi there WarLizard,

I do agree that the Fat Bob is one of the best looking bikes HD makes right now. I'm personally leaning towards 2 into 1 systems anyways.
