Default How many FXR-2/3/4's do we have in here?

Is this even the right forum for these bikes? I know some consider them to be the "first" CVO bike, so I am just checking. I am currently in the process of locating and buying one, and have a few good leads. So I would like to see and hear from any who have them. Pics and info would be great. Also any problematic areas, issues, hard to find parts, etc, etc. would be good info to know. I need all the info I can get, so I can know what I am getting into.

Hit up the Evo section. Theres a handful of guys who have FXR's, including the later 2,3 and 4 series. Glad to see your narrowing it down to what your wanting to pick up. Probably no better choice...at least in my mind.

FXR is NOT a Dyna.

FXR 82-94, Dyna 94 - present. Tho' the Dyna replaced the FXR in the line up, design wise it is very dissimilar to the FXR. The FXR was more akin to the FLT back in the day and was an outstanding motorcycle.

In my opinion the FXR's were some of the fastest best handling bikes Harley made. '82-'94 & the special FXR2 & FXR3 made in 1999 {actually hand built start to finish by a 2 man team at the H.D. factory} as a limitted edition of a model that was replaced in '94 w/ the FXD Dyna model.
