Default "Santee"ape hangers from ebay!

If anyone chooses this company for handlebars first test your hand throttle first! Had to sand my chrome down and also sand plastic throttle inside! They did say they would do a even exchange but when you splice, cut, solder and run wires thru your pretty much screwed! Didnt want anyone to make same mistake!

Reason for sanding was due to throttle not returning back.

Hmm!! Mine fit just fine. Maybe it's the chrome plating.

I had the same problem with powder coating on the Santee bars. I sanded the powder and got the throttle to work right but there was no knurling where the bars clamp to the triple tree so I could never get them tight enough that they wouldn't move if you hit a big bump or tried to stand up on your pegs.I've since replaced them with lower bars that i like better but a buyer beware is in order.

I have the Santee 1 1/4" 14" apes. I had to sand the throttle area also and mine are powdercoated. It was no big deal though and once I did it the throttle grip moved fine. On my model they came knurled in the riser area.

How about some pics.
